Introduction to Custom Data Queries
What can I do on the Data Portal?
You can query environmental exposure and health outcomes data, and then see the query results in a data table, map, and graph or chart. You can download the data table in a variety of formats, and save the metadata in HTML or XML formats. The Portal continues to be developed for additional datasets and functions, such as enhanced features in maps, graphs and charts, as well as indicator report downloads and data comparison across time periods or geographic areas or datasets. How is the New Mexico Portal different from CDC's Portal?
Both the New Mexico and CDC/National Portals allow you to access and visualize datasets. The CDC/National Portal, also called the National Tracking Network, presents datasets that have been processed according to standardized guidelines from all EPHT Grantees. The NM EPHT Portal includes the datasets New Mexico contributed to the National Portal and datasets that address New Mexico-specific environmental health concerns. Both the NM and CDC Portals link to each other.Visit the Index of Queryable Datasets for a complete list of available data queries.
Secure Datasets
Some NM EPHT datasets can be queried in such a way that sensitive, small population data results are possible. See the Metadata Index for a list of available datasets.Users wishing to access these sensitive datasets must apply for access. Please Contact Us for more information about secure dataset access.
